PLUS 3 recorded their first EP entitled “happy little accidents” in 2001, which included "I Won’t Be Around" a song that was later chosen as a top ten finalist in a nationwide competition.

In December 2003, PLUS 3 released their first full-length album BAD MATH, which has garnered praise from music critics throughout Pennsylvania, as well as receiving positive feedback from out-of-state music industry resources. This was evidenced when they were chosen as a Top 50 Qualifier in “The American Music Awards® Presents The Coca-Cola New Music Award" 2003 competition. Local media heralded the CD as "clearly, one of the best regionally released albums of the year." Songs from the album have found their way into regular rotations at three local radio stations.

In the summer of 2004, Plus 3 played some notable shows including an opening slot for Fleetwood Mac, the Millenium Music Conference, and a slot at the 35th Annual Woodstock Reunion.

PLUS 3 formed in 2000 and under the original lineup, recorded their first EP entitled “happy little accidents” in 2001. The debut EP consisted of eight tracks of original music, including I Won’t Be Around which was chosen as a top ten finalist in a nationwide competition to be included in the motion picture "Sol Goode".

In December 2003, PLUS 3 released their first full-length album BAD MATH, which has garnered praise from music critics throughout Pennsylvania, as well as receiving positive feedback from out-of-state music industry resources such as BandsBackStage.net, an independent music website based in California. The band was also chosen as a Top 50 Qualifier in “The American Music Awards® Presents The Coca-Cola New Music Award" 2003 competition. Local media heralded the CD as "clearly, one of the best regionally released albums of the year." Multiple songs from the album have received airplay on regional radio.
