The Birth of PINE

The first meeting between any two PINE members was in 1996 when Scott Theis and Mike Delp met at a Madison music jam. They continued to stay in contact while they both played with other bands. In 2003 Mike (guitarist), Scott (drummer) and Justin O?Rourke (piano/synth) crossed paths and joined a popular Madison band. As Scott and Justin?s interest in Mike?s music grew, they started another project called PINE. PINE soon picked up Aaron Jacobs (bass) from a locally well-known Milwaukee rock band. Lastly, after several auditions for lead singers, PINE struck gold when they saw Mike ?Buzz? Buzzell (vocals) singing at an outdoor festival in Madison. Shortley after PINE's formation, many doors began opening as they continue to do so today. PINE continues to work hard and play harder.
