Kerrville, Telluride and Rocky Mtn. award winners, Kamm and MacDonald have also been working tirelessly for peace and justice – though seen by some of late as 'political' musicians, writing of the human condition as they see it, writing from the headlines, their socio-political offering is always done gently and provocatively, and though each CD released since 1987 has a socio-political song or two on it, there are 80 other original songs that are not! Their political pieces are intelligent, compassionate and powerful... as are all of their other songs.

They’ve been busy on the road regionally, performing in concert venues, house concerts, as opening acts, and festivals like Strawberry, Kerrville and the Kate Wolf Festival - in ’04 sharing a late night stage, in-the-round, with Eliza Gilkyson, Jimmy LaFave, Steve Earle and Jackson Browne for a tribute to Woody Guthrie - and when not on the road they may be found at home on their small acreage graced with animals and surrounded by a pastoral peace, writing – or in the recording studio working on whatever project is next; or on occasion in some far off place where they swear they are visited by the muse Herself and the writing process moves with passion and in abundance. The songs reflect their lives and passions, whether pointing to relationship, a character, the human condition or world events always are offered gently, draped in ethereal harmony, encouraging the listener to feel or think in ways he or she may never have before.

Since 1987 Paul and Eleanore have independently produced 8 albums of original music, receiving critical acclaim from all of the various trade reviewers. Most recently released is their 8th CD, ‘Like Water’, a ‘top album of 2005’ on the list compiled from DJ’s playlist postings on the FolkDJ internet list. 'Like Water' features compadres, 'Little Band' members and exceptional players Mikail Graham, Albert Vasquez and Dave Smith, with a lovely bit of fiddle playing by Scotsman, Murray Campbell. The song ‘Oak Tree’ was featured in the Feb. ‘06 issue of Sing Out! Magazine and 'Salt in My Tears' and 'Talk Radio' are being featured on local Air America affiliates.

Generally traveling and performing as a duo, Paul and Eleanore have taken great delight in recent years, developing and expounding upon their signature sound with the 'Little Band'. Longtime collaborators, the 'Little Band' (Mikail Graham & Al Vasquez) has taken the depth and beauty of Paul and Eleanore's lyrical and harmonic mastery and elevated it, filled it with more colours, expanded it - a presentation of the Little Band at work and in concert is a night to remember: stimulating, inspirational, magical, folky yet somehow all smoky jazzy and far away places too, and it might make you want to shake it a little, get up and move... always in honor of, and supporting of Paul and Eleanore's music's folk roots, the powerful lyrical imagery and never stepping on the haunting and moving harmony.
