Patrick Dune will be recording and releasing his first solo album early next year. This will include 12 original songs that reflect the musical passions that inspired him and helped him define his distinctive musical sound and voice staking his turf as a singer/song writer in Canada.

Patrick Dune is an innovative energetic singer/song writer and guitarist. His expressive vocal approach and guitar styles, playoff of the strong emotional landscapes of his song writing. With an experienced and impressive background of song writing and arranging, Patrick Dune approach's a new blend and style of commercial pop/rock sound that boldly sets him apart. He started writing songs a year later and by age 17 had asembled his core band The Keep which he fronted for seven years. Several years later Patrick assembled his core band The Keep which he fronted for seven years. With hard work, The Keep built up a large following within Toronto and surrounding areas playing at every major club. The band toured regularly for seven years in the late 80's and early 90's with Platinum Blonde, Strange Advance, Teenage Head, Toronto, The Spoons and various other well known acts. Patrick caught his first break when The Keep recorded their new EP and singles "Don't Wish Your Life Away" and "The Sands Of Time" and won all local Battle of the Bands and song writing contests. Being recognized for a new commercial sound, The Keep began getting airplay on local radio and cable TV stations which led to their first video for the song "The Sands Of Time". Seven years later, Patrick decided to disband The Keep to venture into studio recording and writing songs and jingles for various studio projects, independent films and publishers.
