Behind the album 'Over You'

"When I was about 18 years old my path in life took a drastic turn for the worse. A combination of frustration, horrible grades, and depression lead me to the decision to drop out of high school. I was searching for a new pursuit in life and was tired of being discouraged. During this time my friends and family lost hope that I would succeed at anything. I spent the next several years working in factories, and at other unfulfilling jobs with no light on the horizon. During all of this my grandparents continually sent me letters, some chastising my actions, others with encouraging support for a brighter future. At the begining of all these letters was written, 'Be Conscious of the Importance of Thinking.' These words of enduring inspiration were never far from my mind. My grandparents were trying to tell me that when making any decision, no matter how large or small, it's important to look at it from all angles, and to ask myself how much it will affect me and those around me. I never realized before that just a few meaningful words could provide guidance through a seemingly endless gauntlet of setbacks. My advice to you, the listener, when life gets you down so far that it seems the sun will never shine again, 'Be Conscious of the Importance of Thinking'. " P.B.
