Outlander's music could best be described as active, catchy, and captivating while at the same time being complex and having the kind of depth which makes it great on the first listen or the one hundredth. Most songs are powerful, based on electric guitar, drums, bass, and vocals but at the same time hypnotizing, being well orchestrated and enticing with piano, bells, string, and other percussion. Lyrically the songs are poetic, sometimes profound, but always interesting, and tempting the listener to think.
