It's been a long time coming! The streets were one thing. Getting his respects in this industry was another. He hit the streets of Atlanta hard distributing 8,000 mixtapes of "Hood Certified Vol 1&2", but that still wasn't enough for Mr. Grand. Although the streets loved it and his hype grew large enough that he was able to score a meeting at Def Jam South, he would hit another road block. The label executives thought it would make a great record, but decided against it. Change the game plan!

Fast-forward to today, Mr. Grand's catalog now boasts hundreds of completed tracks and he's enlisted the magic touch of some heavy hitter producers. His most recent project is a collaboration with DJ Smallz, of the infamous Southern Smoke mixtape series, on his finest project ever, "The Grand Opening." The first single, "Show U What It Do," has garnered major support from DJ's worldwide and has already received a great amount of radio play. The single is a cross-over hit with commercial succes

Having had music pumping through his veins as a youngster, it was a matter of time before Mr. Grand entered the rap scene. He later formed Grandiose Music Company and hit the streets heavily distributing 8,000 mix tapes. The streets loved it and he was able to score a meeting at Def Jam to discuss a possible record deal. The label executives thought it would make a great record, but decided against it because they felt that he didn't sound Southern enough.

This devastating blow to Mr. Grand urged the artist to regroup and reform his strategy by re-establishing his company as G-Stax Entertainment, developing his artistic talents, and strengthening his business mindset.

Fast-forward to today, Mr. Grand is now more focused and plans to re-capture the rap scene more strategically. His catalog now boasts hundreds of completed tracks and his style crosses regional barriers. With the debut of his album later this year, Mr. Grand will get the much-deserved love that he's due.
