PRESS RELEASE

"Big Gun" takes aim at industrial scene"

Los Angeles, CA - Mr. Me is making an impression with his electro-industrial
groundbreaking. Storming the indie realm with his distinctive style and grim musical attitude, Mr.
Me is reshaping the standards of industrial music and bringing out a leaner, meaner monster. His
album-in-progress, "Up In It," is leaving hints of itself for curious listeners, such as with the
advance release of the single "Big Gun."
"Big Gun" is a scathing indictment of shallow, self-centered rock star attitudes
Lyrically, it's an edgy, sexually charged, semi-metaphorical attack on egos that are bigger than
talents. Musically, it's a stripped-down minimalist composition whose hooks are big, its
melodies born of darkness. Bursts of distorted beats and grooves that soldier on like some
conquering, leather-clad army mix up with undiluted vocals that promise much pain for
transgressors.
But "Big Gun" is but one face of the "Up In It" CD. It demonstrates, according to Mr.
Me, "the dark, sexual side." And this is just the beginning. That, he says, is a promise.
His songs frequently demonstrate a progressive side, building on the minimalist base, crafting structures of texture and mood, brought to focus by his uncompromising lyrics and artistic vision.
