4 Bruthas, 2 from different mothers (and fathers) embarked on a musical journey about 1994. Playing shows, making people dance and spreading the good vibe of unity, individuality and harmony through music. Life caught up with our heroes somewhere between the bliss of ignorance and the need for steady income. Day jobs, night jobs and school took them all on separate adventures, only to return to form after a 13 year hiatus to create what we believe to be our best music. Steady grooves, soulful lyrics and a raw, punchy, power that keeps it all together. With a broad range of influences from Motown to Metal, they pride thenmselves on the ability to eschew traditional labeling stereotypes and be known only as Moses' Gunn

Jason "Nipsy" Rieve - Drums

An excellent dancer and a fantastic drummer. The youngblood of the band, first started playing with these guys when the hightop fade was still fashionable. He is single handedly responsible for the other half of the soul crushing rhythm section that is the spine of every Moses' Gunn tune and a tremendous help in arranging.

Scott Valdez - Guitar

An even mix of Chico and the Man and truly passable rhythm guitarist whose sound has been forged by his love of 80s metal and the folk music of his homeland -- Polka. Without a doubt he is the fun one in the band and when the blade in his boot is removed from its sheath, it must spill blood before it has been returned. Relax, he hasn't had reason to use it for at least two months.

Matt Luening - Bass

Walking the tightrope between musical genius and reality, Matt (affectionately referred to as Moose) brings the chaotic calm in the form of thunder chunky bass. The backbone of a highly touted rhythm section that sets the pocket, groove and tone for every Moses' Gunn track. Raised with elder bro Al to appreciate various musical styles he surely applies various techniques to grease the wheels while diddling the vealy 4-string vulva like no other.

Big Al - Guitar, Vocals

The "elder" of the band, Al (and his brother Matt) were raised with a love of all music from Classical to Comedic and carried it forth through the heydays of metal, grunge and industrial music. Al takes on the lyrics and base ideas and believes in providing a little of the unexpected in every song. Inspired by eclectic bands like Jane's Addiction and old Chili Peppers, his is the voice of one hand clapping.

it's unfortunate that you got boned out of your Lic Op for the TM song "Armed & Dumb", it's a great song and your songwriting & production are first class, it's an affront to my senses and to reality that you were lumped in with another considered track. you guys are the real deal.
