In 1977, Mitch was one of the founders and creators of KAJEM Recording Studios (Gladwyne, PA) and KAJEM / VICTORY Studios (Philadelphia, PA). The second floor of KAJEM housed Goldfarb?s custom photography studio and lab.
KAJEM Studios quickly earned the reputation as one of the best residential recording facilities in the United States. The list of recording credits read like a virtual Who?s Who of the contemporary music scene, including Patti LaBelle, Teddy Pendergrass, New Kids on the Block, Lou Rawls, Cinderella, Queensryche, Public Enemy, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Boyz II Men, Shaquille O?Neal and DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince.

Mitch?s creative flexibility is evident in the various styles of music, writing and photography he has been involved in. Mitch feels blessed to have worked in so many amazing areas of creative expression. In addition to working all over the U.S., Goldfarb has worked around the world, traveling to various countries including Germany, England, and Holland throughout the years.
Along with his duties as Chief Engineer, Staff Producer, Songwriter, CEO and Business Manager, Mitch served as the Director of KAJEM?s Recording Arts Program where he trained aspiring musicians and artists in record engineering, production, MIDI and digital recording. Mitch has been an instructor at most of the Philadelphia area colleges and universities. In 1995, Mitch sold KAJEM Studios to Boyz II Men.
Goldfarb currently freelances as a photographer, songwriter, composer, producer, specialty mixer and author. He is actively involved in artist development. Mitch remains passionate as a strong advocate for the emerging artist. In Mitch?s relationship with young artists he sees himself as a creative coach, marrying his various skill sets with experiences from his thirty-plus years of creative expression. His vision includes guiding and inspiring artists with their careers and creativity, thus preparing them for success.
Mitch is a member of NARAS (National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences) where he served as Chair of the Special Projects Committee and volunteered on the MusiCares Committee, ASCAP (American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers), SPARS (Society of Professional Audio Recording Studios), AES (Audio Engineer?s Society), BMA (Black Music Association) where he served on the Board of Directors, as well as served on the advisory board at the University of the Arts (Philadelphia, PA).
