Minefield is an electronic/pop one woman project. Tamara Kent began using this moniker in 2000 while working with Producer Neil Parfitt. The two met in College studying Record Engineering. Minefields' sound has been described as a cross between Depeche Mode and Portishead. While Tamara continues to perform in a solo capacity, she is currently revamping Minefields' live show. Living in Montreal, Canada brings new inspiration to her work. She recently partnered wtih Geska Records for worldwide distribution of her 3 previous releases while she completes the new Minefield record tentatively titled 'Seeing Red'.
