My name is Gary S. Campbell and I've been writing music for many years. I'm not currently playing any of these songs on the road because the cover band I play for takes up a lot of my time. I'd love to get together with other artists with similar styles and get Mind Over Body up and running again. I prefer to play guitar rather than sing, simply because I can focus more on the feeling of the music with my guitar. Vocals are very important to any song and should be left to a professional. I'm not a singer. I can scream pretty good, though. I was the singer (screamer) for a band called Lucifix and did quite well. We even had major label interest. I left the band because of personality conflicts with some of the other members, but that's another story.

Influences

I'm influenced by a lot of artists from the past and present. I started out playing guitar at the age of 7 while listening to KISS. My interests have changed since then and I like Pink Floyd, Black

Right now I'm basically a one man show. I've written a lot of music over the years and I'd like to get it out there. I'm currently playing guitar for a cover band called "Plain Jane". I'd be more than willing to hook up with other artists with similar tastes to get Mind Over Body rolling.
