Mez, residing in the greater Boston area has been involved with music since early childhood. Ten years of classical piano to guitar, then bass guitar which lead to songwriting and to lead vocals, then to an ADAT project studio, finally giving way to computer-based music recording. And practice...

His song writing is focused,or rather unfocused in the various mutations
of rock music, but it diverges into other song oriented genres, whatever that means...

In the late '90s, Mez's previous group effort TUNNEL, had success in song placement within the top 40 of a few rock stations in the New England markets. Discmakers selected Mez’s song, ‘Same To You’ to be included in the IMWS compilation disc entitled "Heavy Hitters", released in March ’99. DigiKit, a startup company specializing in interactive press kits selected TUNNEL to be the premier artist to kick off their new product line. An independent film company, Five Angels Productions featured 8 songs written by Mez in a film released last year entitled "Seaside Seduction". Mez recently completed vocals for the soundtrack of a screenplay entitled "Understanding Devon James". This summer 2001, Mez will be providing songs for independent releases from CrossRoad Films and Zone Five Films.

Mez has been a member of TAXI since the fall of ’98. TAXI has forwarded over fifty songs to various music organizations. Mez currently records his material in his home studio.
