Makin' Muvez is the young, hot productions from the twenty (20) year old phenom Romell Eggleston A.K.A. Mell. As the great-grandson of the great Blues legend Otis Rush, it's no wonder great music is in his veins. As a self-taught musician, Romell's musical abilities caught the attention of fellow producer Berris "Baby Boy" Bolton. It was here under Berris' watch that Romell's talent were cultivated. Later, Romell would be mentored by duo Donald Smith and Bobby Wooten (eg. Keith Sweat). All this would be pivital in Mell's success as these things lead to offers from Arista Records and TyShawn Productions, a local independent. Currently, Romell is in the lab cooking up hits for artist such as Brandy, 3 piece, Tamira Thomas, and Tifaany Evans to name a few.

Makin' Muvez was formed in the summer of 2004 after declining a production deal from Arista Records and local independent label TyShawn Productions. Orginally formed by high-school friends Charles Alexander, Jamel Lewis, and Romell Eggleston, Makin' Muvez would be left to run by Romell in late 2005.

Makin' Muvez Productions is your one stop shop when looking for a hit. Being the brains behind a slew of hometown hits it's no wonder why major and independents are searching them out.

Currently, you can find Romell in the lab working on projects for artist such as 3 piece, Brandy, Tamira Thomas, and Tiffany Evans to name a few.

Career Milestones:
1. Worked alongside on the Epic release "In Those Jeans" for recording artist Ginuwine.
2. Worked alongside producer Berris Bolton on the Warner/Chappel release "He's Alright" for gospel recording act Fortitude
3. Produced and Co-Authored the Usiege Ent. release "Should Be Mine" for fellow Chicago recording artist Jamel Lewis.
