A Little history about John Rickerd
I learned Piano at 6 years, and picked up the guitar around 8, due to the fact pianos were rather heavy then!
Being able to play both had a impact on helping my playing style today.
I joined church choirs where I played guitar, and along with my music studies in High School and College, mostly Choirs. Helped me with harmonys and dynamics.
The name Mad Musician( my Label) was an Old CB handle for me , in the days "Smokey and the Bandit" was one of the top Movies of the day.
I have it still on my License plates. The Mad Musician Mobile!
I had been messing around with melodys all my life, till 1 day I was encouraged to put them on tape, then on CD , and now on the Internet.
My songs are created with a Yamaha PSR 8000. In order to get the sound I wanted.
Someday , God willing I will get enough money for an Orchestra.
