Scheduled for release June 2010, Melinda is releasing a new EP titled "Don't Be Sweet." The EP features 5 songs including a cover of Creedence Clearwater Revival's "Long As I Can See The Light," "The Hard Way," which was co-written and produced by Grammy winner Kevin Bowe and the title track "Don't Be Sweet" which was named a semi-finalist in this years 2010 International Songwriting Competition.

Melinda

Blending blues, rock, and country into a sound of her own, Melinda sings and writes with depth and heart. Melinda grew up in the Steel City of Pittsburgh, PA and now resides in Los Angeles where she is recording her debut album at the House of Blues Studio.

She has been the recipient of the Berklee World Scholarship, Aerosmith Endowment Award, and honorable mention in both the 2009 Billboard and International Songwriting Competition. "Don't Be Sweet," was recently named as a semi-finalist in the 2010 International Songwriting Competition.
