Mr. Linwood Battle, Jr. is a composer, pianist and trombonist whose style of composing is a mixture of smooth jazzy funk, defined by Mr. Battle as UDJ or Urban Dance Jazz.

Mr. Battle has been performing in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia area with his core band "Woody's Lounge".
