"Land". This is the first solo project of guitarist and songwriter from Lithuania, Rod K. (Rodion Kolomin).
Like a lot of musicians, Rod started playing music from an early age with some of his school friends. In 1991 he was the guitarist of the famous Lithuanian indie band “Endless way”. The track “I’m one” was included in the compilation of artists from the Baltic States, ”Balts Bite Back”, which was released by “Zona” records (LT) and “Studido Twins”(FIN) in 1993.
That year Rod formed his own rock band, “Merlin” where he was the guitarist and composed all the music during the 10-year career in which “Merlin” released 6 albums in Lithuania.
At the beginning of 2004, “Land” started to record their debut album, “You take the Waters”, shortly released by PRIOR RECORDS in Lithuania.
Current line-up of the band is: founder Rod K. (Rodion Kolomin) - vocal, guitar, Donatas Ferensas as the bass player and Darius Uscila - keyboards.
