KARAC consists of four musicians of very different influences who nevertheless seem to fit together like a well made jigsaw. In this outfit nobody calls the shots. There is no formulae to the writing. Everything is a collaboration. Songs simply grow out small ideas or riffs as we rehearse - and we wouldn't have it any other way because each new song is a new adventure, something new and fresh, and that keeps us excited about what we do. Although there is only a small selection of our work here, heard in full it would be hard to pigeonhole KARAC, and that is exactly how we like it. Take a moment to listen and hopefully you will come along with us for a short ride.

All our recordings are done in-house, with a small live-sound studio in Caernarfon, North Wales and a small production studio in Warrington, Cheshire, England. We have been together for five years and so far have concentrated on playing live at various festivals and clubs in the UK.

COLIN ROBERTS

Hi, I come from Bangor, North Wales. Mainly, before getting more serious about music, I worked as a deep sea diver on various oil drilling platforms around the world. Upon getting my land-legs firmly under me, I qualified as a physio-therapist.

My influences are many: RUSH, UFO, amongst many others.

My role in KARAC is singer and bassist. I love writing lyrics and coming up with new angles and stories for the songs.
