Krister was born in Paris and began writing poetry at the age of 6. He later moved to New York City and started his first band as a vocalist and songwriter.
In the end of 1999, Krister began to put his electric piano and his accordion to good use in Los Angeles with local bands like AM, Chris Pierce, and 50 Cent Haircut, along with a steady gig as keyboardist and contributing songwriter for international artist Dawn Robinson.
Krister's style of roots rock is often compared to Ben Harper, with the greasy sound of vintage keys and a raw baritone voice.
Shows this summer will include the North by Northeast Music Festival in Toronto, a triumphant return to the legendary Lighthouse in Hermosa Beach and a cd release party at the Hotel Cafe in Hollywood for his debut album Permanent Friday Night.
