Bio

Joshua Thompson has been composing music from the age of thirteen. In the fall of 1986, after completing his first compilation of music, he released the album The First One. The ten tracks that were compiled laid the base, for his musical career. During his high school years, he acquired the skills to play several different instruments, which aided him to release his second album One Road Two Hearts. With the release of his second album, he was able to have a hour and a half recital at the Historic Ironwood Theatre. His audience was captivated by this debut performance in 1989. Joshua donated the proceeds from the performance to the theatre to help with the restoration project at that time.

Early in 1992, Thompson Studios releases his third album Faded Pictures. The songs contained on this album grasped the attention of several other companies and artist. While living in the Metro Phoenix area, he had several performances, among them were, Buyers United (WeathCom) Annual Membership Bash, Patriot Square (3 Performances) Phoenix Arizona, The Mesa Arts Center Mesa Arizona, The Mayors Youth Committee Mesa Arizona, Tribune Newspaper 1995 Teachers Achievement Awards, Page Park Music Festival Gilbert Arizona.

Over the last few years he has compiled another album. With the cooperation of Rain Tree Records the soon to be released album will be available in December 2009 self titled album Josh. The distant yet emotional sound, moves the listener to grasp the story behind the music.
