Johannes' latest CD, Mediterranea, reached the #6 position on the chart and was recently nominated for "Best World Album" by the industry publication, New Age Retailer (NAR). Zabuca, released in 2003, ranked in the Top Ten on Billboard, and charted for 34 weeks. "Eleni" from this album was heard around the world as part of the 2004 World Figure Skating Championships held in Germany. Johannes' third release Guitarra del Fuego, was named "Best Contemporary World Album" by New Age Voice (NAV) Magazine in 2002 and reached the #6 position on Billboard's New Age Chart, charting for 36 weeks. Earlier releases Sol Luna Tierra (1999) and Kiss The Earth (2000), still remain top sellers.

The song "Eleni" from ZABUCA was heard around the world as part of Switzerland's Stephane Lambiel's performance in the 2004 World Figure Skating Championships held in Germany. A hugely talented multi-instrumentalist and Influenced deeply by the South American and Caribbean cultures he experienced as a youth, Johannes plays guitar, piano, mandolin, bouzouki, bass, wood flute and various percussion.
