Joel Bailey

Growing up on a balanced diet of Phil Collins, DJ Luck and Zig 'n' Zag, Joel Bailey didn't get the best musical start in life. Despite this early handicap, he decided to start playing the drums when he was about 9, performing in a fancy waistcoat for the school band. He was often given a stern talking to after to trying to 'jazz up' renditions of Christmas carols with rough and ready breakbeats. Later he joined some of Bedfordshire's finest teenage angst bands, which got him gigging, songwriting and underage drinking around the country. Drums are too loud and big for London bedsits, so since moving there 5 years ago Joel began playing guitar, singing, and song-writing.
