JImmy Tate - Bio

Jimmy Tate has been singing professionally since the age of 9. He played the title role in the Broadway musical "The Tap Dance Kid", and was featured on the cast album. Jimmy also sang in the Broadway productions "Bring in'da Noise Bring in'da Funk", "Big River", and "Jelly's Last Jam". He is an accomplished pianist, and guitarist. Music from his 2000 release "Play me" was featured in the 2007 NYC International Fringe Festival. Jimmy has sang at city hall for Roberta Flack, opened in Montauk for Ray Charles and James Brown, and appeared on the 1997 Grammy Awards.
