I really enjoy playing "hard-core Blues" and occasionally I like to dabble with progressive rock and some fusion. Of course, I grew up on rock and I always play with a hard edge. Playing music with no emotion from the players is just spitting into the wind. Some people jam with the idea of just trying to duplicate a cover song or play the same rhythm to different chord progressions time and time again. I think the best natural musicians create new music each time they play their instruments and this type of music is usually far more inspiring. Anyone can eventually duplicate the same sound and same songs night after night. But the musician's I want to play with have the ability to play different versions of the same song and always make it rock!

I was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana in 1953. I was raised in Fort Wayne, Los Angeles and Dayton, Ohio. I lived in Key West, Florida for 10 years and I had a small project studio there. I lived in Springfield, Missouri for 13 years. I now live in Saint Charles, Missouri where I am currently putting together a new project studio.
