I grew up in a beautiful suburb of Minneapolis. As a senior in high school, I recorded a full-length album of my original songs. I graduated from Boston's Berklee College of Music with a songwriting degree.

I'm now living in Los Angeles, pursuing my songwriting career. My song "Turning Point" was recently given an honorable mention in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest. I've had the opportunity to co-write with fantastic musicians including Luke Tozour (he engineers Katy Perry and Pink), Alex Wurman (he composed the film score for Anchorman and Talladega Nights), and many popular LA singer/songwriters such as Melinda Ortner and John Clinebell. I've also had the pleasure of singing background vocals for wonderful artists such as Alissa Moreno (she wrote the Rascal Flatts hit "Every Day" and wrote/performed Lifetime's Army Wives theme song), Fannius/Allison Jayne (she has been signed to both Epic Records and Geffen Records), and Demaree (she starred in Les Miserables on Broadway).

Jill Krachmer Bio

Hi! : ) Let's see... here's some information about what I've been up to so far:

I grew up in a beautiful suburb of Minneapolis, where I began writing songs at age 11. As a senior in high school, I recorded a full-length album of my original songs. Next up- Berklee College of Music in Boston. I graduated from Berklee with a songwriting degree- a pretty fun thing to major in!

I'm now living in Los Angeles, pursuing my songwriting career. I've had the opportunity to co-write with fantastic musicians including Luke Tozour (Grammy winning producer/engineer), Alex Wurman (Emmy winning composer), Disney/Nickelodeon teen stars (Kailey Swanson, Austin Anderson, and Sabrina Lentini), and many of LA's most popular singer/songwriters (such as Jenni Alpert, Neara Russell, Jenna Bryson, and Elyse and the Aftermath). I've also had the pleasure of singing background vocals for wonderful artists such as Alissa Moreno (writer of Rascal Flatts hit "Every Day"), Fannius/Fan 3 (Geffen and Epic recording artist), and Demaree (Broadway's Les Miserables).

That brings us to today!

I really liked the lyric and melody of Lesson In Goodbye but there is true rhythmical genius to your lyrics too - very solid song :-)

I really enjoyed listening to your music! You have a lot of fun songs with a nice beat! :) One of my favorites is "Lesson in Goodbye." The vocals were really heartfelt and beautiful with the piano! I am glad I discovered your music!

If you happen to have connections to Luke Tozour, could you please tell him to check his Facebook messages (his "Other" folder). I sent him a time-sensitive message about a very special cause I have related to music that I could use his help with! Thank you! :)
