Jennifer Lee is an introspective singer/songwriter from Milwaukee, WI, compared vocally to Paula Cole, Natalie Merchant and Sarah MacLachlan, bursting onto the scene with her signature haunting ballads, captivating harmonies and explosive tribal world rock inspired by such artists as Peter Gabriel and Sheila Chandra.

Jennifer is currently in the studio recording her debut album - RESURRECT -due to be released in 2007. She is performs her originals in WI, planning to take her act throughout the Midwest. She performs both solo acoustic shows and with a full backing band, complete with didgeridoo and world percussion. Jennifer writes of universal themes, yet in her own unique “code”. As you journey through her songs, you will frequently stumble upon her favorite number 7, themes of resurrection, forgiveness, sorrow, triumph over adversity, feeling safe in a troubled world, time-travel and the ever pervasive theme of “Coming Home to One’s Soul.”

She is currently performing her originals in Wisconsin, planning to take her act throughout the Midwest. She often performs solo acoustic shows, accompanying herself with piano and guitar. But she also performs with a full backing band, with some of the Midwest’s most accomplished and talented musicians, complete with didgeridoo and world percussion. Jennifer writes of universal themes, yet in her own unique “code”. She is also a founding member and frequent performer of MASA – Milwaukee Area Songwriter’s Alliance. Jennifer participated in the nationally renowned showcase – "CHICK SINGER NIGHT"– and performed her original music. Jennifer has had extensive experience and performance in classical choirs. She also has sang and acted with the Milwaukee Rock Theatre performing rock musicals such as HAIR, TOMMY by THE WHO, and DARK SIDE OF THE MOON by PINK FLOYD.

Jennifer is also a performing member of the acoustic duos VIRGO and RADIANT BLUE, as well as the all-female band INFINITY IS SHE.

Currently, Jennifer teaches Voice, Piano and Beginning Guitar Lessons at 2 of Wisconsin’s most notable music stores - MEQUON MUSIC in Thiensville, WI and UNCLE BOB'S MUSIC CENTER in West Allis, WI.
