* Opened for the bands Counting Crows, Yes, Jethro Tull, Kansas, and Live at the Smirnoff Center in Dallas Texas.
* Played with Shelley Carrol of the Duke Ellington Band
* Appeared on the video game Metal Gear Solid 3 soundtrack.
* Wrote, recited poetry and played bass on Norihiko Hibino’s album Akashi.
* Released the Realization of Truth #1, Sextet, and In Pieces CDs as a band leader and composer.
* Started Jeff Curry Music, a music publishing company providing 'buy out' music for producers of various kinds of media.

Current Projects
The Outer Rim
The Outer Rim is a band that defies explanation. It uses elements of free music, rock, jazz, funk and R&B, while being focused on creating new soundscapes with the use of effects and other instruments. The Outer Rim includes Neil Stalnaker on trumpet and effects, Norihiko Hibino on soprano sax and synthesizer, Hakuie Kim on piano, Rhodes and effects, Masanori Amakura on drums and effects, and Hiro Kubota on guitar.

Neil Stalnaker’s East/West Unit
The East/West Unit is an acoustic jazz group that plays mostly original material. Everybody in the band composes so a wide variety of styles is present in the songs. The goal of the band is to create a very real and honest kind of music. The East/West Unit is Neil Stalnaker on trumpet, Hakuei Kim on piano, and Masahi Tomikawa on drums.

The Jill-Decoy Association
Jeff is a supporting member of The Jill-Decoy Association, which is a band that plays all original music and has debutted their new album on the Pony Canon label. The bands’ sound is a blend of rock, pop, jazz, and funk.

Jeff is currently composing music for his own groups and is busy as a session player and side man in Tokyo, Japan.
