Biography

Songwriter/Producer Jae London has devised a winning song formula that may help to transform Hip Hop to a new positive state. Without the use of offensive language, the style is smooth, clean and uplifting.

The new single "Qwestions" touches many issues from social, personal, professional to political and all in such a way that it's thought provoking. With crafty lyrical content it raises the bar in originality, while the music follows the rule of simplicity. "It's uncommon to hear a song like Qwestions, it's the type of song that stays on your mind" says James Witt - Pro. Manager of Amaj publishing Enterprise (BMI) the song's publisher.

Another available album track titled “It wasn’t meant 2 b” is a smooth blend of Hip Hop, R&B, with a pinch of Latin. After just 2 weeks of being posted on www.myspace.com/jaelondon the song received well over 2000 plays, now approaching 10,000 plays, it is living proof that this song is on it’s way to becoming a sure “Hit” with the help of national radio station airplay. “It wasn’t meant 2 b“ has also landed a publishing contract with Amaj Publishing Enterprise, out of Philadelphia Pa.

Jae has lived and worked in Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia and now London as a songwriter, producer and engineer. Having the opportunity to work with several independent and major label acts, Jae has made a name for himself. After years of working in the U.S., the year 2000 had afforded Jae the opportunity to relocate to London, the heart of the U.K.s talent. In Sept 2005 Jae produced a soundtrack for Dancemode, a company that teaches children dance moves and poetry – the short film was played on the big screen.
Currently in the studio finishing the remaining album tracks, Jae London is sure to bring something fresh, new and original.
