Bio

Jack Fate began with guitarist/singer- Ian Webster and Drummer- Chris Lee 1 year ago. Ian and Chris came up together in the Baton Rouge music scene. Each went on to record and tour with different artists such as C.J. Chenier, Larry Garner and Howlin’ Wolf Jr., both in the States and abroad, as well as sharing stages with The Temptations, Buddy Guy, Afroman, Parliament, and Clarence “Gatemouth” Brown.

Despite the heavy touring with other groups, Webster and Lee managed to collectively write the songs that would become the core of future Jack Fate sets. Inspired by the music of Incubus, Maroon5, Jehtro Tull, The Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Our Lady Peace, Rush, The Police, Bob Dylan and many others, the duo decided that it was time to tell their story and recriuted bassist Mike Toler. Bam! The trio was off. Louisiana has always been known for its sub-culture. It is home to some of the finest restaraunts and musicians in the world.
