Iwan has been making music as long as he can remember. He’s a singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist/entertainer. At age 10 in Suriname (South-America) he was one of the founders of a street orchestra. At age 16 he started playing bass guitar. later he picked up drums, guitar, keys, percussion and singing. He composes: American Soul, R&B, Funk and Blues, Jamaican Reggae and Ska, African High Live, Surinamese Kaseko, Pop and Rock.
He was fronting for bands in clubs in the Netherlands (Europe) like: Paradiso, Melkweg, Arena as well as some European tours (Barcelona, Antwerp, Berlin, North-Italy).
In the new millennium (2000), he’s focusing on his solo career. In 2003 he participated in some studio session work for the German Leg of the Keith Sweat Tour playing synth bass. He was also a vital musician [bass & guitar] in the recordings of the 2003 release of Time-Ilene Barnes, IC Music/Night & Day France (www.nightday.fr).

His interest in music is without any boundaries: not about the style but about quality. He digs Jimmi Hendrix, jaco Pastorius, 2 Pac, Prince, Bob Marley, Michael Jackson to The Beatles to name a few.

Iwan has been making music as long as he can remember. At age 10 in Suriname (South-America) he was one of the founders of a street orchestra. When he was 12 his family immigrated to the Netherlands (Europe).

At age 16 he started playing bass guitar and later he picked up drums, guitar, keys, percussion and singing. He composes: American Soul, R&B, Funk and Blues, Jamaican Reggae and Ska, African High Live, Surinamese Kaseko and also Pop and Rock.
His skills got him fronting for pop bands in clubs in the Netherlands like: Paradiso, Melkweg, Arena as well as some European tours (Barcelona, Antwerp, Berlin, North-Italy).

Since the new millennium (2000), he’s been focusing on his solo career. He pitched 3 of his songs that made it through the selection for the National Song Festival 2000. In 2003 he participated in some studio session work for the German Leg of the Keith Sweat Tour playing synth bass. He was also a vital musician [bass & guitar] in the recordings of the 2003 release of Time-Ilene Barnes, IC Music/Night & Day France (www.nightday.fr).

2004: With the experiences he has had throughout the years, he’s like a good wine that needed time to ripen.
