Greg Bartholomew’s music has been performed across the United States and in Canada, Australia and Europe.

Suite from Razumov, for clarinet and string quartet, was awarded the Masterworks Prize by ERM Media, who released the Kiev Philharmonic’s recording of the work on their “Masterworks in the New Era” CD series. Other instrumental works include the String Trio for George Crumb, Fanfare for Santa Barbara Harbor, Voyageur Suite for brass quintet, On the Ground Where We Live for full orchestra, and On the Trunks of Strong Trees for voice, flute, cello and piano.

Bartholomew’s choral works have been performed by such award-winning ensembles as Seattle Pro Musica, The Esoterics, the Oregon Repertory Singers and the Austin Vocal Arts Ensemble. The Ars Brunensis Chorus recording of From the Odes of Solomon was released by Capstone Records in 2005.

String Trio for George Crumb, commissioned by the Oregon Bach Festival Composers Symposium to honor George Crumb on the occasion of his 75th birthday, was premiered by the Third Angle New Music Ensemble in July 2004. Bartholomew’s choral works have been performed by such award-winning ensembles as Seattle Pro Musica, The Esoterics, the Oregon Repertory Singers and the William & Mary Concert Choir, and also received readings by the Gregg Smith Singers at the Adirondack Festival of American Music.
