Award-winning songwriters Steve & Karen Multer (ASCAP) have produced a new Country track written for a breast cancer survivor and targeted as a fundraiser for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
Recorded at Beaird Music Group in Nashville in May of 2008 with top session players and a strong vocal by Nashville singer Melissa DuVall, this track features a thick modern sound similar to Martina McBride's mega-hit Anyway. A portion of the proceeds from every .99 download of the song will go directly to the National Breast Cancer Foundation (www.nbcf.com).

GIVE IT UP was written for Michelle Juehring of Bettendorf, Iowa who was diagnosed with stage III breast cancer in 2005 at the age of 37. A mother of two (ages 2 years and 9 months) this triathlete, marathon runner, wife of a prominent rehabilitation and sports injury doctor, and working mom took on the disease with a hard struggle and bilateral mastectomy in 2007. Michelle underwent 5 months of chemotherapy and 6 weeks of radiation treatments and is now 2 years in remission battling toward 5 years with a clean bill of health. She remains a humble source of inspiration to her friends and those in her community who she continues to support during her fight against this horrible, random disease. But Michelle never lost herself or her faith; today she serves as the Children & Family Life Coordinator for St. Paul Lutheran Church in Davenport, Iowa. In her own words, "I feel I can best serve those I love by working on being present as a good wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend." They've produced 2 neo-Swing albums with their band, TONIC Vintage Vocals, that enjoy airplay in over 150 Jazz and A/C radio markets worldwide.
