Fastest Turbo Fire Engine was born out of a passion of music. There are so many powerful songs that have had an incredible impact on us over the years, and we wanted to write those songs. We wanted to write music that meant something. Fastest Turbo Fire Engine has given us the opportunity to mix the intense grooves of hard rock music with catchy hooks, and ambient, moody passages as well. We wanted to take the best of everything we loved and make something new and creative. We combine this music with meaningful lyrics that run the entire gamut of emotions from jubilant to lamentive.

Not exactly...Fastest Turbo Fire Engine was the brainchild of frontman Jason Bradley. He was watching the "Guiness World Records" tv show, and they had a segment with this drag-racing fire engine with after burners and the whole bit. It was the fastest turbo fire engine. He clung tight to the name, and it was settled upon once the band had been conceived. Oh, they do like fire, however.

Fastest Turbo Fire Engine plays hard rock music with catchy melodies and ambient, tripped out passages. They write emotionally wrought songs laden with hooks and plenty of inner voices delicately shifting around simple drones. "We're all about love and passion in and of music; things missing in a lot of music for a long time. The lyrics point to hope in the midst of desperation and ask tough questions to get people thinking about issues we sometimes are afraid to face" according to Jason. FTFE is a culmination, of sorts, resembling Creed, King's X, Weezer, Hum, and Sunny Day Real Estate.
