once upon a time there lived three stately friends – derob, zaly and speely. one sunny night they all met in a hut downtown.
“i’m lookin for kate” said derob.
“no you’re not” said zaly
“yes i am” said derob
“no you’re not” said zaly
“huh?” said speely
“whaddaya mean I’m not?” asked derob
“i mean youre not” said zaly
“i am” said derob
“you might b looking for electricity” said zaly. “or youre probably lookin for italian cuisine. yeah that’s it. italian cuisine it is. sure as hell not kate”
“where’d you get that from?” asked derob
“what’s italian cuisine anyway?” asked speely
“i know you derob. and i know italian cuisine. and youre lookin for it”
“i’m not. i’m lookin for kate.” said derob.
“oh you mean like pasta and pizza….” said speely
“you cant possibly be lookin for kate” said zaly
“well i cant possibly be lookin for italian cuisine too now can i? i mean it’s the middle of the night now innit?”
“there are 24 hour reatsurants around and you know that” said zaly
“and little mozarella things with garlic and olive oil and tomatoes and basil?” said speely
“not italian restaurants there aren’t.” said derob
“of course there are. italian cuisine is extremely popular – and you know it as well as anybody”
“mmmmm. sounds pretty good. You know I don’t even know that kate chick?” said speely.
“listen, you cant argue with facts. there’s no 24 hour italian restaurant it this town and that’s it!”
“you wanna put your money where your mouth is?” said zaly.
“what… listen, that’s not the point anyway now is it?” said derob
“you call the point” said zaly.
“i vote for italian food too. i mean who is this kate chick anyway?” said speely.
“the point is that i’m lookin for kate and that's bloody it. i just ate anyway” said derob
“the fact that you just ate is immaterial.” said zaly
“wait a minute wait a minute…. I think I know. dark hair, blue eyes?” said speely
“what the hell are you talkin about?” said derob
“listen, you cant even tell the difference between kate and italian cuisine” said zaly
“course I can!” said derob
“she’s quite a looker isn’t she?” said speely
“than what’s kate?” said zaly.
“kate is muse.” said derob.
“blue eyes… and one hell of a body. yessir, quite a body she’s got.” said speely.
“muse?” said zaly.
“sure” said derob.
“and what about italian cuisine?” said zaly
“ok I vote for kate. is she a goer? eh?” said speely
“that’s not the…. you don’t know anything anyway” said derob.
“are we looking for kate then?” asked zaly.
“kate, italian cuisine. whats the difference anyway.” said derob.
