Shedding the shackles of the genre-soaked music scene in Columbia, South Carolina, a new vision claws it’s way into the spotlight. ENTREAT entices the listener with a thick, intoxicating melody of blurring, dark, pop-tronic rock. ENTREAT is influenced, but not limited by, the works of Depeche Mode, The Cure, NIN, and A Perfect Circle. Following the inspirations of these iconic bands, ENTREAT strives to create more than just the ordinary song. ENTREAT was founded by Marty Fort (guitars and programming) and Robert Savage (drums and electronics). On the path for ENTREAT’s unique sound, their search led them to the powerful voice of Jessica Candella. Her vocals are complemented by the ethereal keyboard work of Ashleigh Morse. Chad Waller fills the final spot as bassist for the group. With the playing figures in place, ENTREAT has made their first move by recording the initial demo sessions at The Jam Room studios with Jay Matheson. With the combined talents of the group’s diverse members, the release promises to appeal to a multiformity of musical tastes.
