Ed James...just a guy on a mission to write the perfect song.

The son of classically trained musicians, Ed began his career at the age of 2, beating the heck out of pots and pans on the kitchen floor.

He formed his first rock band in the 5th grade. Fast forward to the present...and somewhere along the way, Ed learned how to play guitar, drums, and keyboards, earned a bachelor's degree in music, released several solo records, and has had tunes featured on television, film, and a slew of compilation & tribute albums.

A seriously fun entertainer, Ed has performed memorable shows at International Pop Overthrow music festivals in Los Angeles, New York, Philly, and Chicago, as well as Sparklefest, a Chapel Hill, NC-based rock music event, and the Charlotte PopFest in Charlotte, NC.

...pop, rock, and even pop-rock at its hookiest, happiest, harmony-drenched finest...you can count me as way MORE than simply impressed, and I just bet you all will be too.

---Absolute Powerpop---
...power pop in the classic sense, always hooky, always melodic, usually a bit loud, and never boring.

---Amplifier Magazine---
...almost every song seems like it's shot out of a cannon, and the melodies are so immediate that you won't forget them even after one listen...

---Torpedo---
...big pop songs, chockfull of hooks, power-chords and heavenly harmonies...

---Shake It Up---
...seems to effortlessly be able to knock out hook after hook, melody after melody, and catchy chorus after catchy chorus...
