Hey Sharon,

Thanks for the 5-stars on my songs, "ticking stars" and "Stairway To Peace". I love those songs, too.... Glad you do to. Currently working on a 62 track world-new age song. Takes quite a bit of time to produce it. Moreover it is a little over 12-minutes. I'll make one, but also have a 4 and 7 minute version for the sync crowds.... They are so fickle... anyway... a little hard to compose and then work full-time selling cars.... But the economy is so tough right now.... Anyway, best to you and your endeavors. I DO have a new album, "Drifting Fog".....it is at Broadjam. You might like it. A lot of songs inspired by the ocean. God bless....Chet Nichols

You are welcome, Kevin! Your songs are great and I'm glad to see many of them getting placed in Opportunities - Congratulations! Your production sound is excellent - can I ask what DAW programs/stup you use? Appreciate it if you care to share.
Thanks,
Sharon

Studio One 4 is my DAW of choice and software is numerous. NI Komplete Ultimate 12 is used a lot. I own a dozen or more virtual pianos and they all have their place depending on the song. Two favorites would be C. Bechstein and Ravenscroft. Omnisphere is a favorite synth and Spitfire Audio are the preferred strings . . . again depending on the song. Waves and Slate Digital are some of the preferred plugins. Audio/Sample Modelling is a preferred solo instrument software.
I try to do the best I can but I never feel I reach the level I want to when it comes to production. It's just a constant learning curve.
Thanks for the complement anyhow! - Kevin

Thanks very much for the info, Kevin! That's quite a setup and I've used NI in the past but am not familiar with your DAW or many of the others. Thanks so much for the info, and I'd have to say your production sound is quite good - I thought some of them must have been Live in a studio, so that's saying something, lol!
Thanks again,
Sharon
