D. Gookin Bio

D. Gookin (aka Mike Birnbaum) is a New York-based songwriter, percussionist and
producer with a passion for recording and producing all things experimental, pop,
hip hop, reggae and rock. A signed artist with Moodgadget Records, he has released
fours CDs--Spiral Style; From the Wall of Undoing; How 2 Deal; and When You're
Lonely, Everybody's a Celebrity, all of which can be found on iTunes. His original song,

tracks for Passion Pit and in commercials for Symantec, Verizon/Amcomm, Endeca,
Thomson Portia and Kids Terrain. D. Gookin has performed at such colleges as Vassar,
Trinity and Hartford, the Movement Electronic Festival in Michigan and at venues
