Biography

"DB Night" originated on the streets of Detroit, ushering in the 80's. During the rockin’ Metal/Punk/New Wave hey day of the early 1980's local radio stations introduced their music into regular rotation as "DB Night" became one of Detroit’s hottest live acts.

After making a name for themselves in the clubs of Detroit, New York, Austin, Miami and Toronto, DB Night moved to Los Angeles and began writing for EMI Publishing and Peer Music, the world’s largest independent music publishing company. Their songs were successfully placed into the soundtracks of such movies as "Child’s Play" (UA), "My Mom's A Werewolf" (Crown), "No Place To Hide" (Cannon - with Drew Barrymore), "Nobody's Perfect" (Moviestore - with Chad Lowe), "It's My Party" (UA), "Silver Strand" (HBO), and "Crackhouse" (MGM - with Jim Brown & Richard Roundtree).

Larry Cox (Climax, Jefferson Starship, Graham Nash), Don Davis (Robin Trower, Santana), and Michael Laskow (Taxi) are some of the legendary producers who have worked with DB Night.

During the Nineties their musical collaborations with other musicians in Los Angeles lead to the release of their CD, "The ClockX," in 2001. Today, these talented songwriters continue to focus their attention on producing and arranging original material.

While their music can be generally categorized as "Pop Rock," DB Night are very versatile and not confined to just one musical genre. Power Pop, Hard Rock, Punk, New Wave, Rock & Roll, Southern Rock, Country, Blues, Acoustic and Latin influences fill out the group’s vast musical repertoire.

DB Night have established a solid independent musical presence throughout the world wide web. ClearChannel’s New Music Network, c|net’s music.download.com, Garageband.com, Audiostreet.net, MotorCityRock.com, Broadjam.com, and MySpace.com are among popular internet sites that host and feature music of DB Night.
