James & Darren formed DayLite Productions after their first collaboration, "DIVINE" won the Inspirational Grand Prize in the John Lennon Song Contest. Since that time they have shared an International Release, Network Television Placements, and worked with Dallas Austin & EMI.
James has cuts on Virgin, Curb, BMG, Universal, and was honored with the Songwriter's Hall of Fame Abe Olman Award of Excellence. Darren was honored by Billboard Magazine's International Songwriting Competition. Co-writers include Amy Powers (Barbara Streisand/Brain McKnight) Underground Productions (Arista/J Records) Sarah Nagourney (Wynonna/Randy Crawford) & members of Arrested Development.
Together they form a 3rd voice that respects and seeks to inspire people of all faiths and walks of life. Writing for the underdog & unheralded spirits of the world, DayLite's messege represents the essence of true SOUL music.
