Darryl Duncan is a veteran songwriter/producer who started his career in 1986 after signing major publishing deals with Almo-Irving and Warner Chappell music. In his 8 years as a staff writer/producer Darryl has written for and/or produced several artists including Jeffrey Osborne, Chaka Khan, Michael Jackson, Earth, Wind & Fire and R. Kelly to name a few. Darryl was also a solo Motown artist in 1987.
After years as a successful writer/producer, Darryl decided to exit the industry to focus his career on something where his success was less dependent on “hit records”. For Darryl this was the video game industry. Darryl was hired as the lead composer and audio director for Electronic Arts Florida. After 3 years with EA, Darryl left to form his own company GameBeat Studios. Today GameBeat is a leading provider of music and sound effects to the game industry and has worked on some of the most popular titles in recent years.
