Daniel's Bio

Hailing from Colombia, South America, Daniel Pardo began playing flute at age 17 in Bogota. Three years later, he continued his performance studies in Cleveland, Ohio, after which he joined the USMC Band and Performed in Norfolk, San Diego, and Honolulu.

Besides his performance studies in Ohio, Daniel holds a Master Certificate in Music Production and Technology from the Berklee College of Music.

As a performer, he has toured Colombia, Venezuela, California, Nevada and Wisconsin. Recording credits include works for Sony Music, Insignia Music, Sonolux, Hitchhike Records and Damarolee Records.

In 2006 Daniel relocated to Austin, Texas where he is showcasing the intricacy of his flute playing through Latin music.

Locally, Daniel plays flute with Austin's the Brew and with Houston's the Navigators; Pardo is also a member of the 36th ID National Guard Band in Austin, Texas, as a flutist for the Ceremonial and Wind Ensemble and percussionist for the Latin Band.

Daniel is the founder of E.L.F. and its members of the Electric Latin Fusion are Tonico Vanalli on Drums, Luiz Coutinho on Minor Percussion, Ben Irom on Keyboards, Victor Murillo on Guitar and Framy Diaz on Bass.
