Shaking Tree is a four piece eclectic alternative rock band that combines folk and world textures with today's pop and alternative styles. The group has circled the united states playing over 150 shows a year. Their song Memory of Me was selected as the end credit music for the movie Now You Know, written and directed by Jeff Anderson of Clerks, Dogma, and Jay Silent Bob Strike Back fame. Shaking Tree has shared the stage with a number of celebrated acts such as The Gin Blossoms, The Jerry Garcia Band, The Samples, Merle Saunders, Stroke 9, Sister Hazel, Kansas, and Journey. At the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, the band headlined the Budweiser World Party Stage.
