Press Info

"CYNDER is an extremely versatile band I have been with and managed for the past two years. I have not yet heard anything that can compare to the broad spectrum of vocal and musical talent in the band. If some one was to ask me my favorite band it would be CYNDER, and not just because I managed them, but because they excel far beyond any band, new or old that I have heard to date."

Bio

CYNDER formed in the year 1998 from past downfalls of other local bands in the small town of Asheboro NC. Rob (the bands guitarist) recruited fellow high school classmate Ryan after hearing a brief tape of his singing. Rob also brought along with him from his old band, Kenneth Blan to play drums, and long-time friend J.J. Moore to play lead guitar. The first practice seemed like magic and before long the band had recorded it's first album: NO REGRETS (1998). Shortly after, one of Ryan's old bandmates was asked to jump on board to play bass. John Ward former guitarist for the older band, took up bass and has been tearing up his five string ever since. The group played many shows all over the state of North Carolina, getting the name CYNDER out in the open and to the public. But later on the next year, guitarsit J.J. quit coming to practices and lost interest in the band. Knowing that they would have to start over the band fell into a long slump, and shortly after, Kenneth sold his drums and moved away. Ryan, Rob, and John continued to write new material hoping to one day find another drummer. But one never came along and so the band hunted down Kenneth and pleaded with him to return. He agreed and bought a new drum set securing his place in the band once more. The group produced song after song and it was some of the best heavy music the group had ever heard.
