Pianist/keyboardist and singer/songwriter, Christy Shanks, is known for her attention to detail and exceptional quality of live entertainment. Her writing styles stem from Jazz/Soulful/Funk to Pop/Rock/R&B.

Christy began teaching herself to play piano at age six and went on to study piano/music theory with a professional piano instructor. Later, while attending the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, she studied under a music professor, auditioned for a prestigious music conservatory, and was offered a full scholarship.

Christy is an active member of her church, leading Worship, and has written many Inspirational/Worship songs. Outstanding Jazz Piano Soloist and Best Talent are just a few awards/titles that Christy has achieved.

When Christy is not rehearsing/performing, she enjoys spending time with her family; children, Leilani, Christian, Isaac, and husband, Justin.
