Bio

Vocalist/songwriter/acoustic guitarist Retta Guest Choate began performing professionally while in college, staying mostly with acoustic pop, soft rock and contemporary, modern folk-pop music.

Milkglass Flame was Retta's first full length album released on her own label with nine original tunes. "Evil Villains", a haunting 9/11 song, will ring an emotional chord with any American. A "Beatlesque" version of Rocky Racoon is selling internationally. "ME" is a song about her love for the state of Maine. The CD plays on radio stations nationally. An emotionally moving and beautifully written work of acoustic pop and folk rock, Milkglass Flame is available at ITunes, www.cdbaby.com, rettaaguestchoate.com. Her 2nd CD, "Daddy's Mill", was released in 2009 and sells on Itunes and cdbaby.com.
