Charles Hubbard Bio

Charles Hubbard has recorded and performed several albums of material with a number of different bands, most recently the roots rock outfit Lodi, of San Francisco. Charles wrote half the material as well as shared lead vocal and electric guitar duties. Lodi recorded and performed together for four years, developing a solid local following and playing with acts such as Burke, M Headphone, and Dean del Rey. Lodi completed both an ep and a full length album that received airplay on several different online or public radio stations in San Francisco, Albuquerque, New Mexico, and abroad.

Charles has given interviews on radio and in print about his music, and worked with excellent people such as Dennis Bostok of Bar 7 (touring drummer for Tesla), bassist Robert Wong, a well known figure in the Oakland punk scene, and indie whiz kid Aaron Prellwitz, who engineered both of Lodi’s albums in the historic Toast Studios in San Francisco.
