Honorable Mention for 3 songs entered in the Song of the Year Competition, 2007.
In the 2006 UK International Songwriting Competition NIMANBURR CHORUS & A LONG TIME AGO were finalists and finished in the top 4% of all entries. DAMIAN'S HYMN finished as a semi-finalist.
Composed Concerto for Concert Band (a commission piece), which was performed in July 2004 at the AUSTRALIAN ODYSSEY concert with the combined City Bands of Eltham Concert band and Boroondara Symphonic Band, and at the MSO Sidney Myer Free Concert Series, February 2005.
Composed a musical "I Am William Dampier" in 2002, with Western Australian scriptwriter and editor Peter Bibby.
Arranged and orchestrated for the Australian Classical Players and this included the performance of my commission arrangement of The Swan (for 4 'cellos) for the Music That Moves concert held at 101 Collins St. in 1999.
Launch Musical Arranger for the 1998 season (Alexandar Vass- Paul Upchurch of Legin Productions Ltd.) of Topol in Fiddler on the Roof (writing, arranging and orchestrating) an OVERTURE of Fiddler show tunes for a 19-part pit band, plus transpositions for the show) held at the Regent Theatre, Melbourne.
Composer/Musical Director of the 1996 and 1998 Australian Writers Guild's annual awards (AWGIE AWARDS) which included arranging/orchestrating and recording television/movie themes and writing original themes for award presentations, incidental & opening/closing music.
Scored original music for short films including Horseradish and Blackwater, Billycart Troubles and most recently Kumquat, and was Sound Designer/Composer for Suspiros, Flamenco Dance Theatre, for the 1999 Melbourne Fringe Festival.
