Have No Fear...

We are a rock and roll band in Kansas City, Missouri. Here is a little background information on the band and it's members:

Guitarist Evôl Snider, vocalist and guitar player Johnny Pharaoh, and Sam the Drummer played together in a semi-mythical band long ago in a faraway nearby locality. We'll call it "Independence" for the purposes of this story. After the breakup of that band, Johnny and Sam went on to a few other musical projects together, all the time feeling drawn to an unseen higher calling.

Then, early in 2003, Evôl began meeting with Melvil at Melvil's house in the town of Waldovia to meditate on the mysteries of the cosmos and to jam, as witnessed by Melvil's brother who was living at the house at the time. After a few biweekly sessions, Johnny began attending, and several songs were dutifully pushed through the early stages of development despite a dissappointing lack of synergy between Evôl's guitarwork and Melvil's harmonica playing. The most promising songs of that peroid were "Evil for the People" and "Toast and Scrambled Eggs" (which would go on to become crowd favorites). Alas, the practices became sporadic as the months passed, and eventually the three agreed that the project should be shelved, "for the time being".

Then, in November of 2004, a Thanksgiving get-together for Melvil and Evôl's family was held at the Cup and Saucer on Deleware Street, a bar and bistro in downtown Kansas City (owned by Melvil's girlfriend Jill "Ray-Gun" Erickson). There Evôl approached Melvil about playing bass with Evôl, Johnny and Sam in their newly-reunited, and as yet unnamed posse. While Melvil didn't have much experience playing bass, he did in fact own one and was eager to "try out" for the position.

So much has transpired since then that one's head reels with recollection. At the time of this writing, the crew has channeled the consciousness of Murgatroyd into a collection of nine cosmic attunations, or "songs", and are planning a public debut for the fall of 2005.
